In german forums it's the same thing. Everbody want all for nothing. And when they sell something suddenly the opinion changes into the oposite.

After checking the dicused piece i must say that i woult have bought it immediatly for such a low priece.
Show me a dealer who sell such a good set for that low price.

1. ANYONE that interjects themselves into another member's attempted sale and makes comments like Mickey did are not only uncalled for, but are not what e-stand is all about. Skip's been around the block. I'm sure he's know's what's good and what isn't.

For the record, it sure seemed to me Mickey accused Giel of ripping people off by putting together a set ....

2. As far as prices ... I agree some are at the high end ... but if there are no takers you drop the price until someone bites ...

If you guys don't agree, come to me with your first offer when you sell your house or Car. I'll gladly take it off you for less than what the dealers sell

3. Half the time e-stand reminds me of a garage sale. Everyone wants something for nothing. If thats the case keep the yap shut and let others buy the item in peace if they think it's a good deal.

As I mentioned earlier, I have bought two cased 1939 EK2 in a 6 month period from dealers last year.

1. Wachtler & Lange Rudolf (mm L / 55) - in matching numbered case in MINT condition from Detlev Niemann June 05 - 406 euros.

2. Steinhauer & Luck - (mm 4) in a non-matching case excellent condition from Emedals Nov 05 - 261 euros.
