Ek1 L/57
Hi Sergey!
My L/57 maker mark is in the same position. The skrew plate and the back of the cross looks the same. The detail of the swastika and date on my cross is extremely clear, well defined with sharp edges. The swastika is also slightly higher than the beaded edge.
Hope I could help. If you need photo's I will mail them to you once I have your E-mail address.

Dear Sergey,
It seems you were not very lucky in the past with your purchses in Russia. Or did you order from dealers outside Russia?
However, your choice of items (I remember a combined pilot´s/observer badge that sadly didn´t turn out to be good) shows that you are in a stage in your collection where it is time to buy the more advanced awards.
We have so little contact with collectors from Russia here that I would be happy to see other items from your collection that you feel sure about because they came from a good source, maybe a veteran. Probably you also have nice Russian items.
I would like to invite you to our Collections Display and Groups forum and show off some of your good stuff there. It would be interesting to see what can be obtained in Russia.
Cheers, FrankCheers, Frank

Hello Frank. Thank you for you letter. I am collecting Imperial Russian awards and Third Reich awards. But my German collection isn’t so large. How you understand I had no troubles with items for my Russian collection but with items for my German collection I have bad experience. At First time I bought items for my collection in Russia, but too much fakes there and I decided to buy items from reputable dealers outside Russia. I have no much experience in collecting of German awards and have not good books for this. So only this forum helped me. Frank, what books can you recommend me?

Dear Sergey,
Sadly, I can almost recommend no book, unless a collector has the knowledge to know what is good and what is bad in these books. There is no book that you can trust blindly and use as a shopping guide. As we all do, even the best authors make some mistakes.
I recommend you share more of your stuff with us and see which opinions you get. I would love to see more of your collection. What are the items you bought at trustworthy dealers and that you feel comfortable with? Can you show them to us?
Cheers, FrankCheers, Frank
