Dear Rodney,

Do not get confused if the beak area looks a bit different on your L/11. George´s example has quite a narrow beak area compared to others, I guess due to hand finishing the spange.

Yes, it's very nice and minty! At first I was dissapointed as I seen the maker's stamp on the envelope, but didn't see the mark on the spange. Was looking for it centerline, then after checking out maker's marks in Cross/Williamson's booklet, noticed the mark down below the top prongs! Teach me to look harder.

George: Boxes, smockes. I'd rather have the more rare envelope. Besides, is the box marked Deumer or L/11, or just a plain LDO box?
