Oak Leaves Treasure or Trash ????

Hi All,
Ihave come across this oak leave medal and looked it up in my
The Iron Cross of 1939 book, it looks ok to me but maybe I am missing something being a bit green on these as well, could you cast your educated eyes on this one it would be appreciated as I am thinking of purchasing this one

The only thing I can see diffrent is the edges are not rounded enough as per other examples

Sorry mate... but this one just doesn't make it for me.
the highlights to the edges are not quite right (maybe its the picture) and the background is infsufficiently crisp. The "9"of 900 is a bit off too.
The Oakleaves are very very dangerous... so if you are not 100% sure, keep clear and save your money ! Original L/50's are not that common, but the fakers seem to favour them....The good old 900/21 from a known source is the way to go!

Peter... its hard to give a more definitive opinion, I'm afraid from the pictures...
The side edge to the piece should be highly polished and flaw free. Please try to get weight (gramms) and size (mm). If I had it in my hand I could tell you in a few moments !

To me the quality seems to poor. Stay away from these OLs!
Do as Chris Jenkins says; keep to the 900/21 marked ones.

I was as happy as a tick at a dog show when Detlev used my Oakleaves to show COPY/ORIGINAL. This was awarded to H. Paepcke;
