question: should all of these crosses have maker mark '1' or were there other maker marks as well?? Cheers, Torsten.

Missing the suspension! Maker can be #1 or #20 or unmarked.

Thanks Ed. Reason why I was asking is that Niemann's book seems to infer that he 900 marked pieces should always be Maker Mark 1...? He does not mention any other options for this...?? Cheers, Torsten.

                  kc of kvk markings

you can find these crosses marked 900 1 , 900 20 , and 935 4 . most are found with the 900 and 1 marked on the underside of the lower cross arms.

                          Hi Trosten

Here's a comparison of the suspension ring area of yours and mine, the hangers to the ring appear to be more tapered, but don't feel qualified enough to say if thats good or bad.

Hi Laurence, certainly looks tapered on yours and not on the one that I am showing...? How does the bubbling on the arms compare? Is the pebble pattern the same as on yours? The underside of your lower arm looks rounded or is that just the photo? Cheers, Torsten.
