    I hope it's not Floch

Here is unmarked cross I have, reverse of the cross have the same hinge pin and catch assembly like Floch, but obverse is different, the date is not as low as Floch, the bidding not the same.
So what do you think guys about this one?
    Thanks

            Hi Alikn,

It does not look like a Floch to me. Looks like a nice worn genuine example, possibly an unmarked L/54 (who also used that style catch). I love the wear at the top of the pin where imo the silver has been rubbed off by a uniform loop.

            Regards
            Mike

                It's not an "L/54" -- but it's not a Floch either!

                  Hi,

This coke type pin, hinge and catch assembly was used by several EK manufacturers:

                  4, 6, 7, L/11, L/12, L/13, L/16 etc.

Examining the front of your EK1 it does very much resemble L/16 then again also other types.

Most important thing that counts is that this is a pre 1945 made cross imo. It is definately not the so called "Floch" due to the fact that the pin assembly is not as short as on Floch reproductions.

                  Nice catch!

                  DJ
