counterfeit knights cross

hi everyone; my first time at bat. i recently bought what i thought was a EK2, however it turns out to be a knights cross now i'm told by bob johnston of germania international that it is a fake.would someone please postn a closeup of an orig. so i can compare the proofs etc to my sample? regards, john

I would suggest doing a search here in the "Crosses" section for RC's!! You will find many examples. Welcome to the forum.

Hi John and welcome..

There are half a dozen different examples of real knight's crosses by different manufacturers, so posting 'an example of a real one' is not the solution for you.

It will be far simpler to post your example and you will get plenty of feedback about it.

Either use an image hosting site and link to it, or PM me and I will arrange to post the pictures for you.

thanks guys; i sent the medal to a friend in virginia so he could take it to the SOS show. as soon as he mails it back i'll take some pics and e-mail them. regards, john
