      The one thing that I noticed and, maybe it's just the picture but ...look at the inside beading (close to the date) was it re painted ? It looks like the black is riding up into the beading.
      By the way ...what ever happened to Haps store and collection ? Last I heard his Wife was going to try to keep it going. That was a shame ...he was too young and had a lot going for him. I saw him and his Dad last in 2001.

                That would be a better question for Dion. I never had the pleasure of meeting Hap but knew one of his cohorts from back in the day- Alan Smith who ran the War Shop in Tampa. They were the last 2 shops in the area as far as I know and now all we have is Maitland twice a year and the Lakeland militaria/gun show every so often.

                  Thanks for getting back to me on it James ...Bill Howard brought me to Hap's store and introduced me to him and his Dad ...his Dad was something else , served on the Russian Front and was still going pretty strong !
