Even with the bad pictures, anyone can tell its bad. You can tell by the core and the beading. The Oakleafs and swords are fake as well as the ribbon.

Don't think for a second that the seller believes it's good.

There are plenty of guys infinitely more educated in RKs than me ... that goes to show you how bad this one is.

Do a search on these forums for "Knight's Cross" or "RK" and you will see many examples of REAL RK's. Then come back and look at the one on e-bay. Pretty easy to see the difference.

You used to be able to buy these from a company in Kansas City, MO - WWII Ltd., I believe, for about $25.00. Althugh I sold mine off long ago, it was identical to this one down to the dimple on the reverse!

It is a matter of time - I would have accepted this cross as a good piece two and half years ago - the more You read and deal with the maniacs here the more certain Your judgement becomes - however as all, we do make mistakes from time to time
