if it IS genuine, it's incredibly rare to find one with a broken pin; that hasn't miraculously become a combo...

to be honest medal looks a lot better and detailed than pics

I am no expert on these but the photo of the reverse gives me a bad feeling. I think you still need better photos to get a good answer from more knowlegeable collectors.

hi,will post more pics but the back is really ingrained with dirt and age,it would clean up and come up silver but didnt want to do that,

I'm not 100% certain on this one, but I think it may be ok, (but you may be better waiting for one the experts on these bars to view it). In fact I'll go as far as to say that this may be a needle pin variant bar by maker L/11.

I have taken the liberty of enlarging and brightening your picture of the back of the piece.

and yes, I'd have to agree that this seems to be an unmarked L/11, what a happy ending! (even happier if it was mine)
