    OAKS help!

Hello all..I have been offered this set and am struggling w/ the images and even more so w/ a cert of auth. produced by Nimmergut in '96.

The measurements are smaller than I'd like but within reason...

The Oaks are worn so landmarks are hard to pick out!

    Thoughts?

Is it offered as a first pattern L/50 or second patern 21?

                  Dave,
I dont like them! The detail of the pebbled ground is missing.Maybe its been polished away.Or maybe it was never there to begin with.
Also the loop looks too big.Surely it shouldnt be seen above the top of the oaks like that.
I would save my money and wait for something better.
                  Cheers Franco

Is this acceptable on a wartime set? They appear a bit crude and dull to me.

                      Cheers.

Good Ol' Nimmergut, just goes to show how little detail was known by the experts even up to 10 years ago!

I do not get the right feeling when I see this set!
                              IMO they are not original.
