Urgent Help Requested Regarding an EK2 (dealer problem)

Hi folks. I'm in a bit of a quandry and I need some help!

I ordered an EK2 and packet from a European dealer's website, which from the photos was clearly a Wachtler & Lange cross and packet.

I received the shipment today and it's not the same cross or packet that was depicted on their website. The cross is unmarked, and clearly not a W&L, and the packet is marked Carl Forster & Graf, which I understand is a very controversial packet.

There are only a few EK makers that I am skilled enough to recognize, and the one they sent me is not one of them.

My question is...does this cross look 'good' and can anyone help me identify the maker (at this point, I'm dismissing the packet as a fake, or at least very questionable)?

I'm not going to mention the dealer's name because I'm awaiting their response regarding the mistake.

    Thanks,

    Tim

I agree, send it back.Thats what I did when this happened to me.You have to be very precise in the reason for returning it.State that it is not the cross that was pictured and therefore you dont want it. Cheers Franco

Thanks for the replies so far!

At this point, I'm just trying to gauge what I might be up against. I mean, if they sent me a bad packet and a bad cross to boot, I might be in for some trouble.

Your order was a Wachtler & Lange but got a different cross. Return it.

              Cheers.

                I agree with the others.
It's not what you ordered so send it back and don't deal with them again.
This sort of thing is not acceptable

The description was "IRON CROSS 2ND CLASS, 1939. In Original bag overall good condition"

The dealer has acknowledged the mistake and will honor the return.

Thanks again to everyone for their input.

Once the cash is in the bank - name and shame the dealer.
