Looks very much like a "2". Never seen one before, so can't comment on it. Good looking cross though!

It bares more than a close resemblance to this one... which surprisingly for such a rare EK1 drew NO comments whatsoever... Lazy 2 EK1....?
The maker mark is not pretty - but could indeed be a '2'. Sadly there is almost nothing posted here on this forum with which to compare it to, which merely highlights its scarcity.

Thanks for the input. I did search the forum but no cigar. Tried to find a MM 7 meybauer - no luck. My cross does seem to resembel the one Biro linked to.
Anyway I'm not much into makermarks so if someone is interested in this I'll be happy to trade for another EK1
