On the field of honor...

I know that this is the Forum for Knights Crosses BUT I have a question about Ref. books for Knights Crosses ( You folks know better than anyone ).

I'm cleaning out a lot of books and came across volume 1 and 2 of " On the field of honor, a history of the knights cross bearers ". Now I plan on selling them so I looked for values on the web.

I found 1 set of the two on a dealers sight and he wanted $500.00 for both... is this the value of these books? Mine are mint and were put in storage after I read them once.

If someone could help me with this that would be nice!

I sold mine on the estand a few years ago...I think for around $200. Mine were stone mint. I think $500 is nuts, especially since Bender ha s ahabit of reprinting these things,making the 1st editions drop dramatically in value
