ek2 question dealing with spanges

i dont know if this would go here or the imperial but if a person got a non-combative ek2 in the 1st world war then a second ek2 in ww2 would he get a ek2 or the spange for the ek 2nd class?

I would LOVE to see an original non-messed-with spange on a non-combatant ww1 ribbon... But I would presume it wouldn't/didn't happen
keep you eyes on ebay though, I'm sure it'll happen one day!
