    WW2 EK's by L/15

I understand that L/15 EKs were heavily reproduced,so how does one tell the difference between real and repro?

    Dear Rich,

Page 144 in Gordon Williamson´s book "The Iron Cross of 1939" shows a L15 (without slash) cross that is supposed to be an original. Apparently it is credited to Roger Bender´s collection.

From what I can see on the small picture, some of the differences are:

Original has more rounded corners close to the swastika.
    Original has a broader catch.
Original´s hinge block misses the "lines"

The maker mark however, seems pretty identical to me in form, size and position.

    Cheers, Frank
