EK 2 Poor defined lines, Help

Bought this EK 2 and noticed the the lines are somehow poor defined. I bought it as an original and would like to know if it is original too.

My first impression is that it is not a genuine wartime cross. This based on the poor quality of the frame.

Is it magnetic? if so are the frames that also? And i do have seen some more off this type for sale, i cant say if it´s ok or not but i dont like those frames.

I not so sure, I've seen/owned EK2s with terrible frames, 100% original
double struck, dieflaws, corrosion and general abuse can cause it.
We know that some, 7 for example has an 'awful' frame. Everything else seems OK with this one... don't trash it quite yet, we might find a match

It is not only the double strike that conserns me. Look how badly the frames are cut out. Nearly straight at places.

My EK 2 is not magnetic. I would like to know what difference it makes wether it is magnetic or not. Thanks.
