Gee, Dave, if you don't want people to talk about K&Q fonts, don't bring the subject up! http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...03&postcount=8

Don't forget the $ 3,000.- 'buy it now' price on e-bay that was set not to long ago.

Good morning all! Didn't I write....."now we have a range of $60. to $9,200.00", which of course includes all of the prices you guys note. Some guys just got stuck for more money....

Dietrich, I recall the offering well and the resulting discussions. Additionally, you may recall that the Cross was sold to a Forum member for the price of a good repo....$600.
            Regards,
            Dave

Yes, I remember that, too. But it could have gone for $ 3,000.- in a matter of seconds with the "buy it now" - which is the intentions of "buy it now". It was only later that the price was 'adjusted'

Well, it didn't get a bid!

I hope folks take note and demand their $$$ back especially those who were 'taken' for $3k to $9.2K and all in between. Those who recieved them as gifts there isn't much recourse...

Okay, I get it! Something that doesn't sell nor get a bid at Manions is prove enough to go to 'money back' demands or 'file appropriate actions' as mentioned by you at another place.

I wish live would be that easy and the truth as black and white as some try to portray it.

                      Dietrich

P.S.: Are you a guy who would give a present back based on preceived or real monitary value? - if that's what you are suggesting!

This is so stupid I can't believe it exists on this forum. But what do you expect?... But some people now try to make the current prices of Rounders as more proof of their status. Ridiculous...

The cross was called a modern reproduction by Detlev. What would anyone expect from collectors now to pay for the Rounder?

The moment Detlev call it a repro it dismissed any and all value. To make more of this as this thread attempts to do is beyond stupid.

Detlev expressed his opinion based on hugely extensive experience with crosses from families and vets. No Rounder, therefore, must be a postwar piece.

Until proof surfaces all these threads just serve to stir up trouble, not knowledge, not debate, just pure trouble.

I think that this thread has gone about as far as it can reasonably go.
