Looks like a Deschler to me
If he asks for a sideview, he will see that the cross has an extreme low swas and date.

I hope the rest of the case is still there

      Regards,

Most likely ok, but i would look at a better pic to be shure. What do you want to see? the beding "rim" close to swaz would help. Some more about maker 1 they do have a very low swaz and date, also the date is uniqe.

Well i cant say it´s ok, but a guess most likely it´s ok. If it´s a cheap deal go for it, but then have in mind it can be bad. Wy? the date on a orginal Deschler is very much like those L/54, 100, 107 fakes. I even think i have seen a 1 on some off those fakes, also whit that shape on the pin. As i did say a close look at the front, arround the swaz will tell. More to see, a orginal Deschler have a very low swaz and date. Also the frames are off high silver contend, my one is almost black.

One more they are rare! hard to find.

This one looks good to me compared to mine mm1.
              I personally don't think it's fake 107.
From what I can see of the rim and date I have no problems with this one.

But I agree with Mikael that if you want to be sure, better pictures are required.

And indeed they are not the easiest to find.

              Best regards,
              Luud

Although it's probably just the pictures, that "1" sure looks like a "2"!! But the cross doesn't raise any red flags, as long as the price isn't too high.

I looked better at the foto's I have.
But the number at the backside of the cross sure is a 2 and not a 1 like moste people thought.

It is clearly marked with a 2 as Hank say.

                    Cheers.

On page 139 in Gordons Iron Cross book, a 2 marked cross is described and pictured. That cross is marked on the reverse of the pin/needle and use a different needle and hinge, compared to the cross above. 2 is the marking for Juncker.

                      Cheers.

so this would mean it is a fake??
and indeed number 2 is from Juncker

In my opinion the cross is a reproduction.

                          Cheers.

                            The 2 shouldn't be there

I hope this was an unmarked EK and postwar stamped to bumb the price.
Otherwise I have serious doubt's about mine

I will see if I can get my pictures posted.

                            Best regards,

Personally, I think it a fake. I'll post some pics of an original '1' marked EK1 and hopefully you'll see the differences.
