Do you mean that you have the "negative" stamp on the underbelly of the pin??
My "26" has just that...If the surface on which the pin is located for stamping has been "dry stamped" i.e no pin has been placed there,then every time you place a pin on the same spot and stamp it,the impact/pressure will cause a "negative shadow" under said pin...I do believe that mine and yours are not the only "26"'s with this stamp.

I think I know which cross you are on about,is it for sale in Germany?...if it is then the cross isn't double stamped but just shows the negative 26 stamp on the underside of the pin.Originally posted by mdj
