Hello, Gentlemen. I need your help on this badge. I am fearful that this cross is one of these modern-day reproductions. The inside corners of the beading closest to the swas look a little too 'round', a feature I have heard warnings on before. Also the pin looks a little different as does the swas compared to another '26' I used to own. The swas on my other '26' was a lower profile and exhibited rounded features rather than the sharp corners on this badge. Would anyone have any comments as to this badge's authenticity? Thank you in advance.

Dear Robert,
In my opinion, the obverse is ok, the inner egdes of the beading are actually that round on a 26. When this cross should have problems, I see them more on the reverse side. The numberbox is a bit too tall, it should have a bit less height to it. The pin is a bit too long and becomes broad a wee bit too soon IMO. I am also not sure if the actual numbers 26 are right.
Can you post a close up of the makerĀ“s mark to be sure?
Cheers, FrankCheers, Frank

Here is a photo of the reverse of my '26' marked EK1.
I would like to see a photo of the case's button . Meyer cases tend to have the rectangular buttons.

Here is a pic that I believe looks similar to yours. The quality of your pic makes it difficult to tell, the push button on my case is rectangular. My suggestion is to get pics of known originals like this and use a 10Xloop to compare the 26.
Oops that pic sucks, I try again.Attached Files
