Looks good so far, I would give this one the thumbs up. Could we see a shot with the pin closed from the reverse and a shot of the makers mark please?

Thanks for posting the additional pictures, I would still say that this is a good Zimmermann DK. Rivets, makers mark, pin shape, hinge all look classic Zimmermann.

I appreciate the comments, It is my first DK. Every since I saw my first one 25 years ago as an eleven year old kid getting into militaria I have always thought this is the showiest of the combat awards. Well I know technically the gold is for acts of bravery but it's not political or civil.

By the way this came from Bill Shea...I wasn't worried about originality I was interested to here comments about an unknown DK, Pictures don't do it justice. Thanks again.
