KVK1 MM L/11- De- Nazified or ‘57??

Hello everyone,
I’m not sure if this has been de-nazified very well, or never had a swastika on, in the first place. A mate of mine is positive he can see a “shadow” where the swas used to be, if you get the light correct. I can see something, but don’t know whether it’s because I’m trying to see something that’s not there? If this is the case, whoever removed it, did a very good job! I don’t think you will be able to tell from the photos. If it never had a swas, is it possible that it could it be a ’57 KVK1? Of course, it may be a total fake?
Your opinions, as always, greatly appreciated.

I like nicely de-nazified crosses such as this. Always seems to say to me that the wearer treasured it, wore it during the war, and wanted to keep on wearing it, very long history of service! especially early versions. Of course, not always the case, but a nice thought.

De-Nazified

I've had a few of the de-nazified but they all showed grinder marks etc. This is an extreemly well done, job of de-nazifying. I have a boxed 57 ,marked 3 inside a square. This appears to be an original that somebody (Factory) re-soldered a 1939 crest in place of the swastika

The intention with this cross was, originally, to put it up for sale on the e-stand, but I'm now having second thoughts?? I may keep it in my (humble) collection as the quality of the cross and also the de-nazification is so good. An interesting badge. Maybe jeweller quality alteration? Or is that just fantasy? Any thoughts?

Do you have a picture of your cross from the side , mainly where the wreath joins the body of the cross ? There is a chance I might be able to tell exactly who you did yours . 3 ways these were and still are being done !
