        This was a difficult one. I am conserned over how the backplate and needle have rusted. Can you confirm that this is rust we see ?

              back has no rust and the pin isnt as dark as the photo shows

                What are those dark spots on the backplate ?
                I think better photos is needed.

                      You can't seriously be trying to tell me that if it has black spots on the back it is probably fake and if it doesn't have black spots its original. I would have hoped for some sensible and serious comments on this medal taking into consideration the details on the front and pin arrangement etc but not black spots on the back!!!!!

                          nice original cross. maker was L/56. unfortunately the pin was replaced.

                              I will agree whit Stefan if you Paul check the edges on the arms, they shoud be razor sharp if its a L/56. And yes that pin look******180;s replaced, that one is from a 26 or 1 , L/15,,,,,,,.
