The cross looks fine to me. Nice, original item.

It isn't know who Maker 75 is, but examples and references to known 1939 - 1945 crosses carrying the mark 75 are in many books on Iron Crosses - including Gordon Willimsons seminal offering 'The Iron Cross of 1939' ,(Bender publishing 2002), pages 73, 78 and 83.
