    fake EKI 107

What do you think about this one?? The pin looks a bit odd to me. Any people agree??? Close but not a proper pin/catch setup???

Wow ... my eyes are crossed looking at those pics

The hinge looks a tad wierd ... but what doesnt ... I used to see things like that after 3 hours in the bar back "in the day".

I'd ask for some better pics before we stick the fork in this guy nate. If nothing else, some better pics for the fake gallery if it doesn't measure up.

              Chiming in

I agree that the pictures are terrible, still it seems to lack one characteristic that I look for in "107s."

My opinion: Reproduction and the same as this one marked 1

                Cheers.

                    Hello,

I agree with Peter, a reproduction.
Needle assembling remains a little bit on Souval but as mentioned

I have seen these poping up lately - the one thing that makes it easy for me is the large ammount of die flaws to the beading and a swastika that sits very high above the beading while the numbers are low. Also comes in EK2 form but I never have a camera with me when I need one! Sorry for borrowing the photo.

                              Gentlemen,

Let's revisit the original question. IMO the 107 is a reproduction, the unique difference of Carl Wild from the rest is the date is lower and the location mark for the ribbon ring on the lower arm. Do a search for the Zimmerman example on the WA site and you can see the textbook cross.
