Hi there, I came across this award on the net.. Before I make any hasty movements, I would like this forums opinion..



Four rivet type hallmarked 20 (C.F.Zimmermann) under pin, finely black enamelled swastika with no chips. VF

What is the going rate for this? Any input is highly appreciated,

Looks like a good original Zimmerman to me. From what I can make out in your picture the wreath has the characteristic 'blob' at the 12 0' clock position, and the 'sunburst ray' exhibits the 'flaw' at the 11 0' clock position, (please see the enlarged section of your photo below). Although I don't see any problems with this piece, do you have any pictures of the back just so we can be absolutley certain.

Price wise, it looks in pretty good condition. In the UK I would expect to pay between £1100 to £1300 GBP for one of these. Similar ones on European dealers sites go for around €1800 to €2000 euros.
