    Strange L11?

    Hello,
What do you think of this EK1?
Am I correct that atleast the marking isn't good?

The EK1 looks horrible, but original? The black looks repainted.

    What do you think?

    Greetings,
    Frank

It's okay. The "L/11" mark without the box is unusual, but not impossible. Here's another one.

          Hello,
Am I correct that the black core isnt made from iron?'

Do you think, that it has been repainted?

          Greetings,

            Hello,

no problem with that core if you test it with a magnet and you will see it is a magnetic one.
By that way all Deumer crosses has been copper plated EXEPT one special type.
I hope it could be of some help.

            Best Franki

I agreewith the others, nice worn original Deumer.
This is the first time that I see that the opening of the catch is to the left.
My Deumer and others that I saw are (if I'm right) to the right.
              Is this regular?

              Kind regards,
              Luud

I'm not so sure the catch opens to the left. It maybe that the pin has been pushed around the catch to the left to keep it in place from popping loose?

                  Hello,
                  Thanks a lot!
He opens to the right. It just looks a bit strange.
Are the little "pieces" under the paint no problem? (look very good)

                  Greetings,
                  Frank!

This is quite normal. Probably just the paint lifting off the surface of the iron, that's all.
