What would be the individual market value of a documented period oakleaves and swords attachment to the Knights Cross and the corresponding jewelers copy?

Well, some picture of those oakleave would be nice. Personnaly, unless you got rock solid proof I would not give a dollar on jeweler copy, too many bad experience with those.

I would agree with you fully but the question still remains given the very low number of awards, what would it command on the market? Unfortunately, I do not have one to show you.

That is the asking price for a cased set not the going price. Cased oaks and swords can be had for much less. I personally would save my money as 33K can buy some really cool things in this world that don't need defending when it comes time to sell.

Thanks for the eye opener. Even if it sold for much less it would be a lot. I would not be going to spend even half of that and I agree that there are much better things to do with hard money. Never the less, they are very rare, and I understand they as well as the Knights Cross have been reproduced to the point where it is best to stay away in general.
