Help with ID Second Class Spange ?

Merry Christmas All

I wish to add to my collection a 2nd class spange, this one has
come up for sale it has no markers but I now have my Book The Iron Cross of 1939 , Hooray .....sorry it just took so long to get here anyway I looked through the books examples and if you look at

1) the head of eagle and tip of right wing it seems too close together

2) the bottom of wreath there are 2 bands around the wreath
which should look like and 11 they seem to far apart

3) the wreath seems to be an oval shape as well

these I feel are incorrect but hey I am still learning so your input would be greatly appreciated

Hi Peter,
I would have to pass on this one for two reasons if I were you. One being that the wreath is out of shape as you said, but the second and main reason is that one wing is shorter than the other! Lots of fake Spanges out there these days, both 1st and 2nd class, and it's getting harder to find originals.
