Anyone know who the recipient of the KC was?

And why wouldn't it be advertised as part of the sale? Surely knowing who it was awarded to could only help with the sale. I don't understand the logic of keeping the awardee secret

I was thinking an early Juncker would either be unmarked neusilber with a non-iron core, or L12 marked silver frames with iron core....

I think you’re wrong here Harry. The unmarked neusilber Juncker is indeed the earliest known Juncker. After that there was the only 800 marked RK with silver frame and iron core.
The L/12 Juncker is wearing the LDO mark and was therefore manufactured from 1941 on.

Here is my early Juncker and only marked with 800. The recipient of this RK was Heinrich Paepcke and the RK was awarded in September 1940.
