That looks like a D&B case Rich, I've not responded yet to your reply on the cases forum, but I'd consider this case earlier, because the later D&B bases were more flat and didn't have the material suspended where the slit is.
Also this case will be more domed in shape than so thought later ones and a 'ring' around the button of the catch.
It's just a fundamental observation with no real pin point in scale of time, but more an assumption that this would perhaps prescribe to being earlier with counter part boxes of the very same maker.
Sort of an edcuated 'guess' if honest.
