L/4 spange!?

Hi guys,
well, I've never seen one before, and never knew they were produced, but here one is:
what do you all think?
I feel like I'm going crazy, in a matter of months I see an L/14, L/56, and now L/4
None of these were previosly known manufacturers...

I think this book ,and a lot of other books and articles about the collecting subject, was more intended for the benefit of the 'enduser' rather then the dealers....
