                No offence, but that cross smells Russia or Latvia 2001 to me. Can´t tell you exactly what, but it just doesn´t seem OK.

                  Looks like a Souval piece. The flat swastika and baseline of the numeral three being lower than the numeral 9 are characteristic. Also the eye on Souval pieces is that little bit smaller than known original makers. Souval were making restrikes from just about right at the end of the war so a 1949 bring-back is not impossible.

                    Hi,
                    thanks for the reply i agree with gordon on this had it since 1981 more like, always thought it was soval .

                    i take it the ribbon is posibly real,what about the box.

                    I like to stir things up gets the brain cells working.i will post a known real cross you will like it ,it has provinence back to 45.

                      What are the dimensions of the case?
                      I have no personal knowledge of RK cases with gold borders, but would like to hear from others.
                      Would LOVE to see pics of your other RK.
