Now the question I have is whether sets like these would be issued to someone of significant importance, or whether they were just extra-nice private purchase pieces. The accompanying ribbon is the correct 25mm width, but is only about half the issue length. Maybe the other half found its way onto a button hole. Has anyone ever seen a tunic with an EKII ribboon in the button hole that is 25mm in width?Comment
