Well I'm not sure exactly WHAT you've discovered there Ivan - but it is certainly interesting!!
Photo #25262 is not the reverse of an Ubergrosse if that is what you meant by 'large EK2' in your first post.....
... and neither does photo #25272 appear to be a 'typical' 3/4 ring with that wide frame and a date that big...
but - the frames of the two different crosses are certainly comparible in width... .
I would agree with Brett - some 'touch-up' studio trickery has almost certainly occured there..
