Hello Gents, here is my 800 S&L, I believe it is mid war and there is no dent row on mine and I am pretty sure the frosting is chemical,if this is any help to anything ...Cheers...Jeff

Hi Brian, I understand what you are saying about the box around the "800" from a hard hit or a "double tap," but there does not appear to be a box or anything around my 800. For what it is worth, I will try to get a close up of it tomarrow,Hefe Weizen has clouded my vision tonight! ...Cheers...Jeff

Hi Brian, sorry for the delay. This is about the best shot I can get of my S&L RK 800 mark. To me there does not appear to be a box around it from a hard strike. Hope this helps...Cheers...Jeff
