    Junker Knights Cross Number 2 Markings

    Hi all,
    I need help with the JUNKER KNIGHTS CROSS number 2 markings.

    Recently I have seen a few crosses with the "2" side ways on the top of cross, was this the case with Junker crosses did they ever mark their crosses like this see pics below ( these are repos I think but just to show you what I mean

      Juncker placed their "2s" in both of the positions shown on the copies you posted.

        The RK's in your photo's are definitely NOT Junckers....they're Latvian repro's.

          When the "2" is on it's side it is commonly referred to as a "lazy 2"

              I guess in very simple terms; when something is "hand" stamped there will always be a varience. The positioning of these stamps is very important but not the deciding factor!

                Hi Roy,
                thanx for you input I am a newbie and have already ordered that book it has been over a month now and still have no book
                I can't wait for it, mean while thanx to the guys on this site I have a reliable resource to guide me in the right direction
