German Cross in Gold Date Flaw

Is this the correct date flaw for a 20 maker marked 4 hollow rivet DKiG? I am looking to purchase one soon, but want to know if the example offered to me is the original or a replica.
    Thank you in advance!

There is a "ding" in the metal that penetrates the "9" that is not the flaw, just damage to the date. The date you posted has the two flaws in the "9" seen on zimmermans and kleins. Please post the full detailed view of the wreath when available, as there are some key flaw areas which have been discussed here in detail. The date for this looks good.

Rolf, please tell me I'm wrong but the numbers look raised (the lower parts of the 4 and 1 appears to be flattened out).

        Hi Peter,
I can assure you that the numbers are incused into the wreath.

Thanks Rolf, I figured they were but the "flattened" appearence had me obfuscated.

I can try to post the pics later. It is a nice original heavy zimmerman.

Thank you for your help Tom.

You don't need to post photos if you don't want to.

              Thanks!

woops!! Image #8 is another heavy zimmerman and IS NOT the date to this cross, which is a good cross. Here is another image of the cross. For those who like to identify specific flaws, beyond those on the date, three are readily discernable on these images.
