Named DKiG grouping with docs and paperwork

    Hi all,

I have been offered the following named DKiG grouping.
It belonged to Oberleutnant Hans Luther of 2/Gren. Reg. 488

I'm interested in it but this goes well beyond my knowledge and experience as I'm more of a combat items collector. The grouping is well documentated and comes with all it's documents and medals.

The DKiG is I believe a 20 Zimmerman and has it's catch repaired.

I would love to hear if somebody could say anything about Luther (I don;t have Gericke's book). I would appreciate any (good & bad) opinions on originality and value. Either here or thru PM

I apologize for the bad pictures.

Thanks in advance for any replies and advice.

                          Hi

I,m wondering if he was in the POW camp at Concordia,Ks at one time? One of the items has that name on it.

                          Regards
                          Odell

                            Hi Odell,

according to the seller Luther was indeed a POW.
Anybody else can help me with this one? Any comment, I would appreciate it very much. Thanks in advance!
