I seem to recall a discussion several years back about B&NL Spanish Crosses. What I remember, and I may well be very wrong, was that B&NL did not make Spanish Crosses.
I am going to check the W-A Spanish Cross Badge article right now.

Here are some old threads I found, that may be of interest...
There is always much discussion and contradiction around those, but at the end of the day it can be said that 99% of all experienced collectors (and even dealers) do not regard these as original items. The killer (for me) is that these crosses can be found with several maker marks.
Frank:
Thanks. I bought this at auction. I have asked Jamie Cross about these Spanish Crosses with this maker mark and he is one of the 1% of the dealers who think that these were made by BL&N.

Jamie Cross is not the yardstick to be rating items by. He has his share of dubious badges on his site.
