War Merit Cross 1st Class Real or Fake?

I picked up this war merit cross at a local antique store. It was really priced accordingly so I took a gamble on it. I always try to research stuff extensively as I’m a newby to this.

      Hey!
It is a post-war cross maker Souval, but if you have got it for a good price, there are no problems because there are collectors on these as well.

      Best Regards
      Martin

I completely agree with Martin. Be advised however that a cross such as this is not as desirable as a wartime produced example.

Although there are collectors interested in postwar crosses made by Souval, you shouldn't have any trouble selling it provided you acquired it for a reasonable price.

Really, how lucky are things that can be found by chance these days. I think you can give it to the authorities for display.

Based on the evidence of the pics, might I ask your opinion on the authenticity of these War Merit Crosses with Swords 1st & 2nd Class.

Martin is totally correct. But, a cross like this is not as attractive as a military manufactured one.
