EK2 in medal bar - Schickle Schinkel?

Is this EK2 a so called unmagnetic Schinkel by Otto Schickle? Many thanks for your opinion!

As these Schickle Schinkels are one-piece constructions, are they made from a single zinc plate or a single neusilber plate?

Ti the best of my knowledge they are made of brass.

Yes, just now I read in the book of Dietrich Maerz that the thin variant is made of brass and that the thick variant was covered with some silvery material before painting.
So, I suppose that this cross is a thick variant.

We have two versions of Otto Schickle's one-piece schinkel : non-magnetic and very rare magnetic.

In the non-magnetic version, we have 2 varieties : the so-called heavy (weight about 24g, thickness> 3.0mm) and the so-called light (weight about 19g, thickness about 2.5mm)

          Regards
          Jarek
