I was going through my collection recently and found this EKI I bought about a year ago. On closer inspection I noticed it has unusual hardware. It has been slightly hand vaulted and appears to have a brass core. I suspect it may be a post war copy. What do you guys think?

Here are photos of another Rettenmaier EKI. A very similar set up to my EKI can clearly be seen on the reverse. The hinge, pin and catch are all almost identical. Here is a website with great info on Rettenmaier EKI's.

According to this website my EKI is the type 1 pinback version. Meaning it is a nice early example.Attached FilesRichard.
