KVK1 without swords. Opinions.

Hi Guys,
Would like your opinions on this KVK1, if this is original has anybody qny idea who the maker is? Searched around but don't seem to be able to find anything with a similar hinge and pin.

I think it's an S&L with the pin (and possibly the hinge) replaced.
