Place of mm L12 on ek2

    Hello,
    I have q question about my L12 EK2.

Did it happen, that the L 12 was marked in the ring?(or is this a post-war marking)
On the photo's I've seen, the marking was on the medal itself.

I hope someone can help me?

    Greteings,
    Frank

The only place I've ever seen them marked (and admittedly they were only a very few examples) was on the medal itself.

Does this actual cross match up to other L/12s?
because I've seen about 6-7 of these in the last few months!!!! even 2 marked on ring AND frame...
          regards

IMO these are yet another way to pump up the price, like they do on those unmarkt 100 . Any thing that say Junker will pay more, i dont say the EK´s are fakes but the markings are. And again IMO the value even if it´s a real EK is Zero to me.

That dosen't look like any L/12 I've seen before, I don't even think this cross is a Juncker Take a look on the Asso Memb pages and see Georges L/12, it's nothing like it. And it's nothing like mine either.

Is there even a hump where the ribbon ring goes through the top ?

Lokk on page 82 of Gordons book, you'll see an example of a ring marked L/12, even the ring mark is different. This method of marking L/12's could have been used more often, as Gordon states the frame marked variation is rare on an EK.
