    1957 Oak Leaves and Swords

    Can anyone tell me the era of this set? They are extremely well finished with beautiful frosting and highly polished burnishing, on all the raised surfaces.

    The oak leaves are marked 800 on the lower left of the loop and the swords are marked 800 on the right hand hilt.

    Sorry for the poor photos but they sparkle and I had to use a different lens.

        Hi Bob, I have a set that are identical to yours except mine are 800 stamped on the oaks only,same spot as yours. I bought them back in the mid '80s and was told they were '57s but I never really looked into it because they were extremely cheap back then and I do not collect '57s...Cheers...Jeff
