    very attractive piece

    Hello,

Wel it is certainly a very attractive piece ( Iff I had the funds currently I would love to add it towards the collection ) , the maker mark " 4 " ( Steinhauer & Luck ) is a not so common one IMHO and it can be found with the " 800 " or the " 935 " Silver marking, both ( 800 & 935 ) pieces are exact in appearance .

Iff it is not sold already then I think that you will have a very nice piece soon in the collection.

    Cordial greetings,

ps : Iff you are able to aquire it please post pictures for us, so we can enjoy

I agree. It's a very nice cross at a very nice price. (I would be surprised if it was still available. )

        Gary,

Most Steinhauer RKs are just 800 marked. Those which have the "4" maker mark are most commonly found with the 935 silver mark. The "4" / 800 combination is very rare. This is a very nice piece indeed but you'll be fortunate if it is still available.

        Best of luck!

        Gordon

Hope its still available for you. The ribbon device was sure different. I tried and tried to figure out how exactly that thing was worn around the neck (positioning of the buttons, etc). Finally gave up and closed the browser after I got a headache.

                  Act quickly

                  Gary,

For future reference, if you want one of Detlev's items, you need to close the deal within 3-5 minutes of his update. For some rare items, like a reasonably priced RK or DKiG you have a lot less time then that.

Im not saying that everything goes immediately, I have purchased things days later (after the Friday update). But to consistantly have any luck at getting what you want you need to:

                  A: Know what you want
B: Know where it will be listed
                  C: Have a Cable/DSL/T1 connection or faster....

                  Good luck,

                  Dave

                    K.C.

Detlev Nieman has a Junker Knight's Cross. It's a worn example with a ribbon tailored for its use. Condition is decent, but not mint. Price seems reasonable.

                      My RK

I have recently purchased a K&Q Knight Cross from Detlev and I felt well in spending those money. It cames in an insured package, with it's authentication doc and you can be sure that it's an original! Moreover it's a bank check: when you want to sell it, will be much easier with Detlev authentication.

                        Bravo!

Bravo Frank! Post some images of your new beauty for those of us who missed seeing it on Detlev's site.

He had a cased Junkers "Lazy 2" a few weeks ago which I ordered, but... well you know the story! You gotta be fast or the rest of the collecting world has got be lazy in order to get such gems off of his site after the Friday update!

Again Frank, congratulations on a great purchase. Better then stocks and bonds IMO.
