    57 K.C and Oaks

    Hi to all,
    recently yhere have been quite a few threads regarding 1957 crosses.
    Several years ago i brought pratically the complete 57 set and have not regarded them as i should of have With the intrest shown lately i would like to ask an oinion on one of my pieces, a set of oak leaves, can you tell me a time span of production thanks.

          Hi Henri,

          thanks for the quick reply i had intended to post the rev but this may have to wait till tomorrow as it will be difulcult to re-move the ribbon. I will have time tomorrow.

            I look forward for the pictures. The quality of these early ones is outstanding. If you look at yours closely and compare it to a wartime issue, you might also find same die flaws on the beading.
            S&L are the most commonly found of early 57ers.

              About the comment of Henry " one of the most commonly found 57",
              what other makers do you know for the 57 knights crosses? i only know S&L and Schickel(without MM but with 800, with 835 and without silver content)
              if you know another one, I would be very interested in knowing about its existance

                I have only owned and handled S&Ls and a schickle, but I have seen a Zimmermann.

                  I could be wrong, but that ribbon sure looks wartime to me.

                  The ribbon could be worth more than that nice '57 RK!

                    Hi all,

                    thanks for the comments (and the offers to purchase ) here are the reverse pictures. The oaks are stamped 835 on the right and also uder the bottom of the loop.
