    Knight's Cross......

    What a photo!!! This could be posted anywhere on the Forum but I chose here because of the Knight's Cross and the German Cross....

    This is a guy I wouldn't want to run up against after a few pints!!!

            Great photo. Besides all of his combat decorations, his DRL sports badge looks like the type for war-wounded; i.e., gold wreath and frosted silver script in the center...although it could just be the lighting

                    I am always impressed when I see a photo of a true combat war hero. Makes you wonder what the armchair generals, with Knight's Crosses frosty on their necks, thought when standing next to such a decorated soldier.
